New in McDonald's

When it comes to filling your stomach quickly, fast food is inevitable, McDonald's, KFC, Burger King are in every nook and corner. While they give us a feeling that it is not refusable, inexpensive, quick... Yet it somehow seems boring. So would you like to taste something else more unique in a fast food shop?

McDonald's have been in good development, while the management work very hard to bring out more new concept to the mass and consumer. McDonald's Next is one of their latest idea, which is the first concept store located in Admiralty, one of the busiest area in Hong Kong.

Stereotyped image were given and set through the years in Hong Kong, which are fast food, inexpensive, unhealthy etc. The new concept store is trying to set new image, by providing custom salad or burger - Create Your Taste. I mean, come on, have you ever imagine you can do such thing in a McDonald’s ?

Stepping into the McDonald’s Next, there are formation of order machine. Order your custom burger or salad, by tapping the order machine. They provided a lot of different choice of vegetable, cheese and meat, which would be able to cater both vegetarian and meatatarian customer.

We ordered bakery style bun, with angus beef, mozzarella cheese and a bunch of fresh veges. Once you finished ordering, all you need to is pay, take the number plate, sit and wait. We all were amazed that McDonald’s does provides delivery service.

The food presentation is quite lovely, while all food were put on a wood meal plate, the fries was put into a basket, the burger was plugged-in with skewer, drinks was carried with glass, not to mention the well packaged napkin and cutlery. I would say it is a surprise!

The taste would be another surprise, i was surprised that they could keep up the quality with the famous burger shop. From the bread rich of texture, followed with the juicy tomato and fresh lettuce, all the way down to the well quality thick angus beef, it is the enjoyment of layer and taste.

Finished the mean, they also provide wipes, so we need no worry about the oil on our hands after finishing eating.

Create Your Taste, as a new idea in McDonald’s, is very interesting and does surprise, and it is worth a visit and try.
